Blowing Bubbles

This is Zoe's newest trick. I hope you enjoy!

Lunch at the Park

Today we went to have lunch with Brandon and took the kids to the park. Swings are their favorite part! When I was a kid, I loved it when my Mom did "the underdog." For those of you who don't know how to do it, here are step by step instructions.

Step One: Get hold of child and swing

Step Two: Run under child and while keeping a firm grip.

Step Three: Revel in your child's screams of delight.

Zoe Tidbits

Zoe climbed up to stand on top of the toilet but couldn't figure out how to get down. Instead of helping her down, Brandon laughed, left her there to get the camera and take a picture. We have to hide the stool now.

Zoe searches for her beads just to wear them all day. Brandon says he thinks she just likes to feel pretty!

Zoe has gotten to the point where she can climb onto the couch by herself. Well, she hasn't quit figured out how to get down. Last night she fell off head first and was left with a huge goose egg. It has gone down almost completely today and she is left with a faint bruise. I am hoping the bruise doesn't get any darker. My poor baby!

Surprise Family Visit

This past weekend we went to San Francisco to visit my Step-Mom and Brother, June and Ernie. They came for business but we got to play on Saturday. There was a carousel and Children's museum close to their hotel. The kids had a blast! We also spent a lot of time playing on Nannie's huge bed. That night we went to Buca di Beppo for dinner. It was excellent! Jacob didn't want to sit by me. He wanted to sit between Nannie and Uncle Ernie...I wonder why. I think Zoe ate more than all of us put together! We had a great time. It was really nice to see some family!

Bath Time

Bath time at our house is one of my favorite times of the day. Brandon gives the kids a bath then usually puts their hooded towels on them like capes. They love to run through the house naked to dry off.

On this night, Jacob figured out that the only way to keep his towel on was to tie it on. It made for some great pictures.
