New Jersey Visit

Over Columbus Day weekend we were able to visit the Engstroms.  We had a great fun filled Saturday of picking pumpkins and apples.  The adults even got to go on a double date!  Jacob and Adam are best friends, but if Jacob heard me say that he would correct me by saying, "We are best COUSINS!"  I didn't get very many pictures of our families interacting but I promise we did.  I am going to miss them so much when we move to Hawaii.  Saying goodbye after Thanksgiving is not going to be easy.

We have a Name!

Brandon and I have been having a hard time thinking of a name for our baby girl.  We drove to New Jersey this weekend and talked about names all the way there and all the way back.  On our way back it hit us...the perfect name.  All of our kids have been named after someone in our family and I don't know why it took us so long to come up with this one.  We will be naming her after my Grandmother Renfroe who is an incredible woman.  Her name will be Macil McCain and we will probably call her Maci.  It is the absolute perfect name for us!

Dinner and a Show

A few nights ago, Zoe brought her Snow White barbie and Woody to the dinner table.  After we finished eating Brandon started playing with her.  It was hysterical!

She was laughing so hard she was crying.

Brandon is feeding Peyton pork roast by stabbing it with Woody's nose.

Even Jacob got in on the fun.

Just a normal night in the McCain house.

Keeping the Pattern

We asked Jacob what he thought we were having.  Boy or girl?  He said, "It has to be a girl.  It is a pattern Mommy (in a tone of voice that sounds like "duh Mom")."  He pointed at himself, Zoe, Peyton, then my belly.  "Boy, girl, boy, girl.  See Mommy."  Well Jacob was right.  We are having a girl!

Cunningham State Falls Park

We took the kids hiking at a State Park about an hour away from here.  It was great to get away for the day.
"That tree is really tall Mommy!"

Peyton sleeps through everything.

Zoe is drawing me a picture.

Jacob just wanted big sticks.

Peyton was not happy about waking up.

They are so cute.

Zoe fell down and literally face planted.

This reminded me of Spring Lake in Arkansas.

On the way home we saw this and I had to stop and take a picture.  "Amber waves of grain"

Maryland State Fair

We went to the State Fair back at the beginning of September.  We stuffed ourselves with all the wonderful "fair" food, watched the pig races, and won little stuffed animals after spending way too much money.  Here are some pictures of the fun time we had.

Zoe eats the "corn" off the "dog" first.

Zoe and I milked a cow!  The weirdest feeling.

One day old piglet.  Soooo cute!

"He's soft Mommy!"

Peyton enjoyed the stuffed animal we won for him.

Jacob didn't like the way it smelled inside with all the animals.

Pig races.  The one that wins gets an oreo.

The big slide was my favorite as a kid.

It was a long tiring day but we had a great time!
