Pictures of Peyton

This past Monday I had another ultrasound. It looks like I will be having ultrasounds every 6 weeks from now on. Because I have hypo-thyroid they want to make sure everything is going well with Peyton. It basically means I will be getting a lot of pictures! While I was there the technician surprised me by doing a 3-d ultrasound. I have never had one of those. Peyton smiled while he was having his picture taken. So cute!

Birthday Fun!

I had a GREAT b-day weekend! It all started on Friday when Brandon surprised me by taking the day off. He sent Colleen and I to Butler's Orchard to go Blackberry picking. I love blackberries and have been looking forward to this for a while! I have never seen blackberries this big. Colleen and I were in awe the whole time we were there. On Friday night Brandon and I were able to go on a date. We went to dinner and a movie and had a great time being with each other without having to be Mommy and Daddy. When we picked up the kids around midnight we were surprised to find them still awake. They didn't get to bed until around one so we slept til noon as a family! Talk about a great birthday! Brandon also surprised me by getting a new dining room table that we have been talking about for a while. I have wanted one like this since we lived in California! The Martin family came over for my b-day dinner of BBQ, potato salad, fruit salad, and homemade ice cream. I had a great b-day weekend!

Our new table seats 6 and extends to a large square to seat 8!!

B-day dessert.

Brandon couldn't find the right numbers, so I turned 76 this year!

Look at that HUGE blackberry! Soooo Good.

That is 14 lbs of blackberries and almost 3 lbs of raspberries. We had to fight the bees for the raspberries.

Poor Charlie

Some how Charlie either got stung by something or ate something in the yard she was allergic to. First her eye was the only thing that was swollen...then it spread to her whole face. Her nose was so big she couldn't breath through it and would fall asleep breathing through her mouth. She looked hilarious! We gave her some children's benadryl and by morning she was completely back to normal. We weren't too worried because she was still acting like herself, just a bit swollen. These pictures don't really do it justice.

Blueberries!

Today we went blueberry picking as a family. Well, Brandon and I picked while Jacob and Zoe ate. Brandon finally got Jacob to eat the berries off the bush rather than out of the bucket. We really enjoy going to this farm! It is about 45 minutes away and a beautiful drive. Blackberries are in season in a few weeks and I am looking forward to going back.

24 weeks pregnant.
She ate out of the bucket the whole time!

4th of July Festivities

For this years 4th, we had our neighbors over for BBQ and later we were able to see the base fireworks from our backyard. We had a great long weekend and met some more of our neighbors.

Brandon did a great job with the food! mmm...mmm...good!

Summer Time Fun

We have started taking the kids out on their bikes after dinner and they are so cute. Jacob is a bit weary of going "too fast." The first day he had his bike he went down a hill and completely wiped out. I am so happy that he actually wants to ride his bike. Zoe does her best to keep up but when she gets frustrated she just gets off and runs. It is hilarious to see her running leading with her helmet.
