Washington DC

We went to DC on Wednesday. This was my first time seeing the sights. Awesome is an understatement!

We had a picnic in front of the Lincoln Memorial. This was the kids favorite part of the day.

Mount Vernon

Monday we went to Mount Vernon. Absolutely beautiful!

The kids loved the sheep. This one got right in Zoe's face and said "baaaaaaa!" He wanted some grass.

Caleb was fascinated.

Cherry Blossom Festival

We went to the Cherry Blossom Festival on Easter Weekend. It was very, very busy but worth it. Here are the highlights.

Easter Weekend

Easter Weekend
We had a house full for Easter! My brother and his family came up from Texas and my cousin and her family came down from New Jersey. We had a blast! I felt "all grown up" hosting a family gathering with a kid table and everything! There will be a lot of pictures so beware.
