Auntie Lauren

Our friend Lauren came to visit the weekend before Thanksgiving. The only thing we did all weekend was go see New Moon and it was absolutely wonderful! We sat around, built things with legos, played with play-dough, and rested...wonderful!

Nana

Nana came to stay with us for a whole week! For some reason, we didn't take a lot of pictures. This is the day she got here. Nana was here the first week Brandon went back to work. I don't know what I would have done if she hadn't been here. Taking Jacob to and from school would have been much more difficult! She made the transition so much smoother for me!

One afternoon Brandon and I went to pick up lunch for everyone and when we came home she had a very funny story for us. While we were gone, Peyton started crying and Jacob was very worried. He asked Nana, "Is Peyton hungry?
Nana: "Yes, I think he is."
Jacob: "Does he need to eat special food?" (Pulls his shirt up and pinches his nipple)
Nana: "Yes, but only Mommies have the special food."
Jacob: "Oh, you have special food?"
Nana: "NOPE, only your Mommy has special food for Peyton."

I love kids!

Papa & Nanie's Visit

We got to hang out and relax with Papa and Nanie.

Papa was trying to teach Jacob how to say dirigible instead of blimp. UP is Jacob's favorite movie now. He says, "Look Mommy, a dirigible (dger-bal)!"

Visitors

There is so much to write about and so little time! After Peyton was born, my Mom was the first one to come help. It was wonderful having her here! Every night she let me bring Peyton to her after I fed him if he didn't want to go back to sleep. I also loved being able to visit with her! Our family being so large makes one on one time rare and such a treat when we have it. It is tradition for her to give my kids their first bath when they get home. It means so much that we have been able to continue that tradition!
