Zoe's Top 10

  1. Belly button-some kids have their blankies, Zoe has her belly button. We call it her sleepy button. As soon as she starts playing with it, we know it is bed time.

  2. Pink puppy-Brandon's Mom gave Zoe this puppy when she was born and it has been in her bed ever since. It is so cute to see her going to bed playing with her belly button and holding her puppy around the neck.

  3. Jumping on the bed...any bed-She loves to do seat drops and belly flops.

  4. Shoes-she steals my shoes any chance she gets! Her favorite time to take my shoes is at church, which makes it a bit difficult for me.

  5. Singing-She loves to sing in the car at the top of her lungs and at church even when no one else is singing.

  6. Chocolate-she is her Mother's daughter.

  7. Jacob-she and Jacob play so well together. Their favorite thing right now is to water the garden. Each of them have a spray bottle and it always ends in a water fight. They think it is absolutely hilarious.

  8. Dogs, mainly Shooter-she loves to lay on him while he is sleeping. Depending on her mood, she also likes to scare him awake by jumping on him and laughing hysterically when he jumps up.

  9. The baby-any time she jumps on me I tell her, "Be nice to the baby." She immediately kisses and hugs my belly. She tries to talk to the baby as well but I have no idea what she is saying.

  10. Playing outside-it doesn't matter if she is dressed or not, she will run outside if the door is open. She ran outside one night after her bath because I left the door open when letting the dogs out. Thank goodness she didn't sit down in the grass.

These are in no particular order and there are a ton more but these are the first 10 things Brandon and I thought of.

Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend my cousin Jena and her family came down from New Jersey to visit. Our kids are only a few months apart and they had a great time together. Adam and Jacob were two peas in a pod. We had the two of them sleeping in the same room and it was hilarious to see how late they stayed up and what kind of stories they came up with. My favorite was the Scooby Doo Green Ghost was in the closet. Brandon and Jena went to check on them and Jacob had a terrified look on his face while Adam just kept saying, "Green ghost is in the closet!" All day the next day they ran around with their nerf guns trying to shoot the "green ghost."

On Saturday we went to Annapolis. We got to look at all the boats, eat ice cream and play at the park. Annapolis has so much to see I am excited to go back.

On Monday, we found an area on base that had lots of tanks and some room for the kids to run around. We then went home to celebrate Zoe's 2nd birthday.

Seriously two peas in a pod. Neither one of them like singing.

By the end of the weekend I think everyone was exhausted!

Batman!

Jacob loves wearing his old costumes! This past weekend everyone wanted to be Batman. When Zoe put on the mask, Jacob would run around with the her saying, "Come on Batman Girl, lets go save the day!" He even put the mask on Shooter. We also painted this weekend, just to explain the sheets.

Zoe wore a t-shirt around her neck for the cape.

Itsy Bitsy Spider

This is Zoe's favorite song. Any time we try to sing "I'm a little Tea Pot" she stops us and starts this one. I think her second favorite is "Ring Around the Rosie." She does a seat drop at the "we all fall down" part.

Our New Home and Family Addition

Here are some pictures of the house that I promised. Here is the front door and yes that stone says, "Deep in the Heart of Texas."

We are on the left in this picture.

I will say it for you...yes we are crazy. This is our new puppy Charlotte aka Charlie. She is a 7 week old black lab and we all love her so much. Except maybe Shooter. Shooter doesn't really like sharing us with another dog.

Isn't she cute?

For those of you who haven't met him, here is Shooter.

Oh the Places You Will Go!

I feel like we have been around the world and back, and we still have further to go! Since we left San Angelo, TX on the 1st of April we have been to College Station, Port Aransas (just Brandon and I...awesome!), Austin, Baytown, Clearlake, and now Lafayette, LA. We are a bit tired but very grateful that our kids adapt well to new surroundings. After 3 weeks of this, last night was the first time Jacob said he was ready to go home. We have done bluebonnet pictures, had Easter egg hunts, gone to NASA, and gone fishing. Needless to say we have had a fun filled 3 weeks. We have gotten great news in the last couples of days as well. We are no longer homeless. We made it to the top of the "on base housing wait list" and have been given our new address. There are two houses to pick from but we basically already picked one because it has a fence and the other one doesn't. Anyway, it is a great weight off our shoulders to know that we will have a home when we get there and not have to live in a hotel. We leave Lafayette on Monday to head to Maryland. I will hopefully be able to write more about our trip when we get settled but here are a few pictures to hold everyone over.
